2nd Stakeholders’ Workshop - reuse, recycle and ZLD of industrial wastewater in India

The 2nd Stakeholder's Workshop to discuss the draft guidelines, draft standards, and the draft legal provisions for reuse, recycle and ZLD of industrial wastewater in India was held virtually on 10th September 2020. The aim of the workshop was to share the work on draft directives, standards and draft legislation with key stakeholders, thereby gathering valuable feedback from practitioners.

The participants were welcomed by Mr. Raghu Babu, Project Director, SEIP II, GIZ and Mr. A.K. Sudhakar, Head, International Coordination Division, CPCB. The feedback received during the workshop incorporated into the final results and reports. During the meeting, various aspects (e.g. standards, laws/rules, applicability, incentives) of reuse, recycle and ZLD were discussed for feasibility and implementation. At the end, Mr. Ashish Kumar, Technical Advisor, SEIP II, GIZ delivered the vote of thanks to all the participants including representatives of Adelphi and CPCB.
