1st Stakeholders’ Workshop - Gap Analysis and Needs Assessment for recycle, reuse and ZLD

GIZ organised the 1st Stakeholders’ Workshop to discuss the draft guidelines, draft standards, and the draft legal provisions for reuse, recycle and ZLD of industrial wastewater in India. The workshop was jointly organised by GIZ and the consultant company, “Adelphi Consult” 

The aim of the workshop was to share the results of gap analysis, needs assessment, best practice cases and summary of actual project status. During the workshop, Adelphi’s experts made presentations and sought feedback from the participants from different sectors and organisations. The feedback received during the workshop will be incorporated into the final results and reports. During the meeting, various aspects (e.g. standards, laws/rules, applicability, incentives) of reuse, recycle and ZLD were discussed for feasibility and implementation. The workshop concluded with a vote of thanks by GIZ to all the participants including representatives of Adelphi and CPCB.

Stakeholders from various organisations like NMCG, Delhi University, TERI, United Breweries, FICCI, CII, PHD Chamber of Commerce, IGCC’s member companies, Solara Pharma, TWIC, Badi Infrastructure, UBA, India-EU Water Partnerships, SVNIT, EPES, CPCB, MoEFCC, GPCB, BIADA, Coromandel Murigappa Group, NGT, L&T, Kinfra International Parks, Government of Mines & Geology Department, Water Solutions, Gopa Infra, Gradient India, Talco Din Digul Tanner, CVBU, OBCB, Humboldt Stiftung, Anna University participated in the workshop.
