The objective of the project is:

“Public agencies of the Indian government have strengthened their strategic and operational governance structures to effectively combat water pollution from industrial wastewater.”

Project will have its focus on national level with MoEFCC and CPCB as its main implementing partner in New Delhi. The project will be active in Uttarakhand, Bihar and West Bengal.

The aim of the project is the promotion of sustainable industrial development in the urban sphere by reducing industrial wastewater pollution through strengthening of strategic and operational governance structures including framework conditions for regulating, implementing and monitoring.
