The project focus on developing solutions for implementing viable environmental technologies for achieving air pollution reduction targets in the selected cities

The project has the objective " To strengthen the capacities of authorities in selected cities to effective implementation of India's National Clean Air Programme (NCAP)." 

Budget: 2.4 Mio. EUR

Duration: June 2020 to March 2023

Partners: Ministry of Environment, Forest and Climate Change, Government of India as the implementing partner and in close cooperation with the Ministry of Housing and Urban Development, Government of India.

Locations: 3 cities to be selected by GIZ in consultation with MoEFCC. Tentatively, the cities under consideration are Surat, Pune and Nagpur.] The final selection of cities is expected by the start of the present consultancy services.
